Kampot Pepper (White – 100 grams)


Kampot pepper is considered the ‘best pepper in the world’.  In 2015 Kampot pepper was given the prestigious Geographical Indication designation (PGI) by the European Union. This certification puts Kampot Pepper on the same footing as other appellations of origin like Champagne, Cognac, Darjeeling Tea….



Pepper grows on a shrub like plant and we offer three varieties – all are sun dried and harvested by hand. The white peppercorn is the most rare and delicate of peppercorns. At the end of the season some of the dried red peppercorns are put into a brine and then sundried once again and the other skin – the ‘burny’ part of the peppercorn – is rubbed off by hand revealing the white inner fruit that the French use in pastry and even ice cream.
